Loads of halal food options are within walking distance, and it's close to the metro and gare du nord. The staff were very friendly and the service was perfect, couldn't fault it. The room was a little small, but that wasn't a big issue since I only used it to sleep and get ready. It could be noisy at times, though not too bad. There was a slight smell from the bathroom, but shutting the door did the trick. I'd highly recommend it for a short stay.

Perfect for our stay. It's a great wee hotel with such friendly, welcoming staff. The room was small and basic, but modern, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. Nice to have a safe and a wee fridge too. I was glad I'd brought earplugs, though it's a city, so some noise is to be expected.

For a short stay, the smell was manageable, but I had to get used to it coming from the bathroom. My room smelled like boiled eggs, which I think was related to the drain system. The location is fabulous, close to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord, so you can go directly to the airport. There isn't a restaurant or any kind of food at the hotel, but luckily there are cafés just a few steps away.

The best croissant I've had in Paris was at Hotel Alane. Breakfast had lots of fresh, high-quality choices, and my attic room was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Small details were well taken care of, and the room was cleaned every day. I spent 10 days in Paris this September, after visiting the city many times and staying in various hotels, and this stay at Hotel Alane was truly wonderful. The location is excellent, very close to Gare de l’Est and just steps from the metro. I like to walk, and could easily reach Boulevard de Sébastopol and head into the heart of Paris. I also found Hotel Alane to be exceptional value for money, considering its comfort, service, and location. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel comfortable with their warm welcome and professional manner. The reception team, including Eric from Mexico, the two gentlemen, and the lady at the desk, were all sincere, friendly, and helpful. They're an outstanding team and deserve praise for their warm communication and professionalism. I'll choose Hotel Alane again on my next trip and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. Thank you to the whole team for your hard work. Hotel Alane truly made our stay in Paris special!

The room was simple, but clean and really nice. I especially liked the shower, it had great pressure. The staff were courteous and helpful.
