Alberte Hotel

I liked this place a lot. It’s central, close to the Eiffel tower and Les Invalides, and in a comfortable neighborhood full of cafes, restaurants, and little shops. The team was always helpful, and the hotel felt clean and recently renovated. Since it’s in an old building, some things are small, but the location easily made up for that. I’d choose it over a chain hotel. The complimentary coffee came in handy when I worked remotely from the lobby after checkout on my last day. Thanks to the team for a pleasant stay!

The rooms are small, but comfortable, and you probably won’t spend much time in them. Staff were lovely and accommodating. The boutique hotel is newly renovated, clean, and quiet, with a great location near the Eiffel tour and within 2-3 miles if Notre Dame.

The staff were wonderful from the moment they welcomed us with champagne to sorting out an early morning cab. Breakfast, served in a gorgeous downstairs room, had everything we needed, and they even provide umbrellas when the weather turns. The Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler are a beautiful 5-8 minute stroll away, and Gatsby next door is a lovely place for a nightcap. I’d absolutely stay again, but would ask for a room with a window that opens. In room #8 it wouldn’t open, and the air-conditioning was tiny, about the size of a shoe, so it didn’t cool the room down. Sleeping in the heat was difficult. The staff, breakfast, and location were all 10/10.

We really enjoyed the beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and breakfast. A credit card error accidentally booked the same reservation twice. My card company wouldn’t help, but the hotel let us extend our stay even though they didn’t have to. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Paris.
