Hôtel Alison

We’d happily stay here again, especially when travelling with our young child. Our three-year-old daughter was treated like a little princess: she had a special bed with sheets she loved, teddy bears on it, and Petit Prince toiletries of her own. Laure was also so thoughtful and kind. She made my birthday celebration in Paris with my family feel extra special, and we’ll remember it. The staff were warm, flexible, and went out of their way to help. Breakfast on our last morning was fresh and nicely presented, a lovely end to the stay. The location made it easy to get around, and our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom might benefit from a small update one day, but everything worked and was well maintained, so it didn’t bother us. Alison Hotel is a small, cosy, charming place where we felt welcome right away.

We booked a courtyard-facing room and were happy with it. The room was surprisingly spacious, since we’d expected something smaller, and the main attractions are about a 25-minute walk away. We arrived on New Year’s Eve, so around 250 euros a night didn’t seem unreasonable for that time of year, perhaps even toward the lower end for what you get. The continental breakfast is 16 euros and had everything we needed to get the day started.

Our room was tidy and clean, with a little balcony looking onto the street. The staff were friendly and helpful, even pressing the lift button for us. The area is busy, but the street itself is quiet. There’s a grocery store across the road, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, and the sights are close enough that we walked everywhere. It’s a good place in a fantastic location.

Nothing fancy, but comfortable, with a very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great and close to the Metro, Place de la Concorde, Champs-Élysées, and more.
