Résidence Alma Marceau

We didn't manage to get the en suite hot water fixed before we left. We reported the problem, but there was still no hot water on our final night. Aside from that, our three night stay in the three bedroom duplex was great. There were six of us and plenty of space. The kitchen had what we needed, though we only used it for quick breakfasts, and the dining area was roomy. They let us leave our cases after checkout so we could see the sights before catching a taxi to Gare du Nord. The location was wonderful. We walked to everything we needed, though there's a metro station nearby as well. Shops, a convenience store, greengrocers and bakeries are close, along with lots of restaurants and places to eat.

The apartment was spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the staff were warm, helpful and accommodating. They even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a bigger unit, which we appreciated. The property sits about halfway between the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. I can't say enough good things about our stay, and I'll definitely book here next time I'm in Paris.

The apartment was spacious and clean, thanks to the lovely cleaning team, and the location was good, close to G20 supermarket. Staff were very friendly. I wasn't comfortable with the very small elevator or the tight entrance area to the apartment, though. It really gave me the creeps as someone who's claustrophobic. There was no luggage concierge, so I had to carry my bags myself with help from some staff.

We were concerned about the slippery bathtub showers. There was no grab bar or nonslip pad, and that should be fixed. In every other respect, Residence Alma Marceau was terrific and we'd return. Our three bedroom apartment was roomy and attractive, with comfortable beds, nice furniture and good lighting. The kitchen was well equipped, though we barely used it. The concierge team were friendly and very helpful, housekeeping was good and security was excellent. The location was great, three blocks from the Arc de Triumph and a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and river boats. On our block were a good patisserie, grocery store, pharmacy, cleaners and three nice restaurants.
