Aparthotel Adagio Access Paris Reuilly

We loved having the extra space that comes with an aparthotel, and the option to cook, though we mostly brought takeout home or ate out. The rooms were bright and clean, the beds really comfortable, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. The staff were wonderful, especially Trang, who welcomed us, helped us get settled, answered our questions, and offered suggestions with a smile. We’d highly recommend this place.

We stayed five nights as a couple and booked the four-person room for the separate bedroom and living/kitchen area. It was very spacious, with a comfortable large bed in the bedroom, plenty of hanging and storage space, and a handy coat rack near the door. There wasn’t a good place for luggage, though. The kitchen had a microwave/oven, but no manual, so I couldn’t figure out how to use it properly. There was also a stovetop, bar fridge, big sink with no draining area, plenty of plates, cutlery and glasses, a kettle, coffee machine, and a round table for four, though there were only three chairs. I slept on the sofa bed, which was okay for one adult or two kids, but I’m not sure it would suit two adults. The large bathroom was poorly designed: while showering, you could knock the hot or cold tap, and water flooded the bathroom. Metro lines 1 and 8 are very close, and Gare de Lyon is about a 20-25 minute walk away. Cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets are all within five minutes on foot.

The staff were friendly, and the room was large, with a kettle and coffee machine. It’s right by two metro stations, lines 1 and 8, and close to cafés and restaurants. Simple and good value for money, with a lot going for it. It ranks high among my Paris options.

I liked the hotel’s quirky feel and ambience, and it’s well located in a quiet part of town. The place was clean, the rooms were huge by Paris standards, and the desk staff were friendly. Still, the hallways had a damp smell that could be addressed, and the bathrooms need work. It’s frustrating that there’s a charge just to get the room cleaned to an acceptable level. The fire alarm also kept going off when I took a hot shower, which was annoying. A few things could be improved.
