Aparthotel Adagio access Paris Tour Eiffel Saint-Charles

The staff were okay and helpful, and although I expected street noise during my two-night stay, it wasn’t a problem. Each room has a kitchenette, and I think the hotel is fine for a night or two. The room and bathroom felt old and not very clean, and the place generally needs refurbishing. The windows also need repair, which could make it cold in winter.

The location is great for tourists, with three metro stations just 3-5 minutes away that can take you around greater Paris and out to the countryside. The Eiffel Tower is a 10-minute walk and visible from the hotel. By American standards it’s okay: the place is clean and the room is a studio set up like an apartment, but there’s no daily maid service.

The location worked really well, close to the Eiffel Tower and with easy metro access. The apartment itself was good, but the bathroom wasn’t clean or up to standard. When we asked for a late checkout, the receptionist was unfriendly and wouldn’t accommodate the request.

We only booked this place at the last minute because our first choice fell through. The fancy entrance was misleading: our room smelled awful and musty, was dirty, had mold in the shower, and even had a cleaning bucket left inside. Then I spotted little bugs in the kitchen. I killed two or three at first, but whenever I came back there were at least three more. My family and I were starving, so we went out for dinner. Afterward we asked for our money back because we didn’t want to stay somewhere full of insects. They offered to show us a different room, but we declined and lost what we’d paid. The front desk woman was pleasant enough, but said only the manager could approve a refund for the room we’d been in. He was indifferent and insisted we couldn’t get reimbursed because we hadn’t viewed the other room. Nobody had told us that the previous night, only that we could look at it. The area also felt crime-ridden. While we went back to discuss the refund, someone opened my wife’s backpack and stole things from it. The elevators were constantly occupied by children riding around and pressing every floor. A nightmare. Stay away.
