Aparthotel Adagio Paris Centre Tour Eiffel

The large restaurant had everything we needed to get the day started, and there’s a MONOPRIX conveniently nearby. Check-in and checkout were both easy. We stayed four nights, and the room was warm, quiet, and clean. Having a kitchen was handy, and the location was hard to beat since we could find our way back wherever we were in Paris. It was just what we’d hoped for. Congratulations!

For more than €200 a night, I expected a lot better. The room smelled persistently of stale smoke, and the windows don’t open, so there’s no way to air it out. The hotel had an unpleasant smell throughout and seemed poorly maintained. Housekeeping isn’t included for stays under eight nights, and a fresh towel costs another €2 each. The Wi-Fi was practically unusable upstairs, with speeds as low as 2 Mbps down and 0.5 Mbps up, so getting work done in the room was impossible. It was a little better in the lobby, but that doesn’t make up for a connection that doesn’t work in the room. The facilities and service were unacceptable for the price. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The shower heads are terribly designed, sending water everywhere. There was mold and hair, and the cleaning staff did a “trash” job. They claimed the room had been cleaned, but all they’d done was make the bed and leave a rag-style towel on it. My new sheets also had a bloodstain. There’s no AC or fan in the washroom. This stay caused a lot of stress and frustration. Easily the worst Accor Hotel we’ve stayed in. The conditions were deplorable and the service was negative. Never stay here!

The apartment looked just like the photos, and the Eiffel Tower view was even prettier in person. The hotel is in a perfect spot, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We were so happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.
