Hotel Apollo Opera

The beds were a little firm, but the hotel was quiet and the staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful. The AC worked and got nice and cold, which was great for my menopausal situation. It’s close to Blanche, and there’s a fridge in the room. It worked perfectly well for me and my teen daughter. We’d visit again, thanks for a lovely stay.

The room was quite small, and the bathroom was a real letdown. A strong, unpleasant smell from the pipes made it uncomfortable. On arrival, though, the first man at reception was polite and helpful, so our first impression was good. The next morning no one was at reception when we wanted to ask about breakfast, so we had to figure it out ourselves. It’s served in the basement, which wasn’t very inviting. The selection was poor, with very few options, and the bread was extremely hard and not fresh. Our stay at Apollo Opera Hotel wasn’t comfortable or enjoyable. We’d expected more, and sadly it didn’t meet our expectations. We wouldn’t return.

There’s a mini fridge in the room, handy for water and leftovers. The hotel is near several metro stations, a small park, and a few cafes. Our room was clean, and the staff were polite and informative.

The staff were amazing and really helpful throughout our stay, and the rooms were super clean. The location was really good, close to the metro and stores. If it’s your first time in Paris, this is a great hotel to look for. I’d totally come back!
