The Concierge team were the most responsive and efficient I've come across. They managed to find reservations even at short notice, and the service was outstanding. Check-in and checkout were welcoming and easy. The Front Office Manager greeted me personally as I got out of the car, already knowing my name. It made me feel special. I had an exceptional stay.
We arrived at about 10:30 a.m. after travelling overnight, but even though the receptionist confirmed our room was unoccupied, we were told it wouldn't be ready for another five hours, around 3 p.m. I'd requested early check-in when I booked. The room was tiny, roughly the size of a queen bed. The shower was a hand-held sprayer in a small tub with no walls, so water went all over the floor. The tub also wouldn't drain, leaving us standing in ankle-deep dirty water. The hairdryer didn't work, and the elevator was broken when we arrived. We're still staying here, and this has been a very disappointing experience. This isn't a five-star hotel, three stars at most.
The place was dirty, looked nothing like the photos, and the service was awful. At checkout they even tried to charge me for things that weren't real. It isn't a five-star hotel, three stars at best. Believe the bad reviews, this hotel is just like them. Honestly, it isn't worth it at all.
Cheinez deserves special mention. Her warm smile brightened my whole stay, and she handled my concierge requests quickly and efficiently, which made the experience even better. My stay at Hotel Montaigne was perfect. The property is elegant and comfortable, and the service was impeccable.
Great rooms and amazing service in a really great location. A great place to stay, and my favorite.
