Appartement Petits Champs II

We spent six days at Appartement Petits Champs II in March, traveling with three adults and two children. There was room for everyone to relax, and the apartment was clean, spacious, and nicely designed. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and the living area felt cozy and elegant. It worked much better for us than a cramped hotel room. Our arrival went smoothly, and the host was kind and welcoming, especially with the kids, who felt at home right away. The neighborhood felt safe, and restaurants, cafés, and bakeries were only minutes away. We could grab coffee and pastries in the morning or go out for dinner without going far. It made a great base for our Paris trip, combining a convenient location with the comforts of home. We'd happily stay at Appartement Petits Champs II again.

For a few days in Paris, I'd definitely recommend it. It's clean and comfortable, though space becomes limited with more than four people.

We also got scammed, like the person who reviewed this before us. The place was just a basement and at most half the size shown in the ad. The host took three quarters of the total in cash, so we have no way to claim that money back. The spiral stairs were so narrow you could barely turn around with a backpack, and both my daughter and my wife hit their heads near them. I left a review on booking.com, but the response was nonsense about an "emergency apartment" and a nonexistent "water issue." Somehow, my review disappeared from booking.com. I've put a screenshot of it here for transparency.
