We first stayed here for three days after our travel plans changed, then briefly tried another lodging before quickly leaving and coming back to Artemesia Montmartre for two more. We had different rooms each time, and both were comfortable, very clean, and in great shape. The whole property was well kept. The newer-looking elevator seems to have been added fairly recently. The location is excellent: a block from Moulin Rouge, about a 20-minute walk to Sacre-Coeur, and 15 minutes from Gare Du Nord, close enough without being right on top of it. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a reasonable range of choices. We paid a modest extra amount to include it on our first stay, and booking early got us a good rate by Paris standards. The room ran warmer than we liked, and we couldn’t cool it down enough, so we asked for a top sheet to use instead of the covers. There was street noise on a couple of nights. I don’t know if that’s typical, but light-duty earplugs might be useful.

I had a very enjoyable one-night stay. The hotel sits between the Opera and Montmartre districts, just steps from Moulin Rouge, with lots of good places to eat nearby. There’s also a nice lounge and bar. My room had high ceilings, tasteful décor, plenty of space, and a lovely view of Sacre Coeur. The bathroom and included amenities were lovely, and the shower had great pressure. There’s a small spa you can book in advance, though I didn’t have time to try it. It would be a nice way to unwind after a day exploring Paris. Breakfast was a small buffet, but the food was high quality and nicely presented. Coffee was very good and unlimited. The manager clearly cares a lot about the guest experience, and it showed.

We’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it. The hotel is well placed for both Montmartre and central Paris. A couple of Metro stations are within a two-minute walk, and you can walk to most tourist areas if you feel like it. The staff were lovely and gave us directions and information for a few places we wanted to see. Breakfast was amazing. There’s also an original hotel lift, a fun quirk, though it’s out of use and there’s a modern one too.

The hotel made our one-day honeymoon feel really special. Everyone was lovely and attentive, and the room was beautifully decorated, with a very comfy bed and quality linens. We both loved breakfast: a great selection, all fresh, even the orange juice. It felt like a luxury stay, and we had no trouble with street noise. We chose Artemisa because we’d booked a show at the Moulin Rouge, and the location was perfect. Thank you for making it magical. Max and Alicia
