We stayed for 16 nights in October. The place is usable, but run down in spots and in need of maintenance and deep cleaning. It felt a lot like a university dorm. The location was great, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, grocery shops, bars and transit within a 10-minute walk, or a little farther if you keep going. WiFi was excellent. Our room was spacious, and the beds were more comfortable than I expected at this price. The laundry was convenient, especially with the app for reserving a time. We also appreciated the self-serve coffee and tea in the lobby, plus the room's coffee pot, toaster, kitchen equipment and dishwasher with pods. Front desk staff were professional and very helpful. The room was basic but usable, though worn and due for updates, especially the bathroom and kitchen. There was water damage, moldy tiles and an old wall mounted hair dryer. The lobby was nice and the laundry room spotless, but the elevators and halls need renovation or a deep clean. The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom could have been cleaned better too. I had to wipe grime from the kitchen drawer and cabinet handles. Maybe it's hard to clean deeply while fixtures are falling apart. We liked the neighborhood, but the street and intersection outside were full of sirens and constant car horns, more than in other areas for some reason. The windows blocked some sound, but earplugs may be useful if you want a quiet night.
