Hotel Bel Ami

There are loads of cafes, bistros, and shops nearby, so take a look around, and the Louvre is an easy walk away. The area itself is lovely and quiet, with plenty of public transport close by. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable suite and got lovely extra touches. Champagne and Macarons were waiting when we arrived, then the next day they brought chocolate cake after we mentioned it was my birthday. A complimentary bottle of water was left each evening. Breakfast had a wide selection that was replenished regularly, with great service from the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Amazing hotel, and I’d definitely stay again.

The flowers waiting in my room when I arrived made me smile, and the thoughtful care from Aicha at reception made the whole stay feel personal. She checked in with me every day to see if I needed anything, offered me water whenever she saw me, and took time to show me around the hotel and explain the room facilities in detail. Her hospitality made me feel at home. I rarely experience customer service at this level. It leaves me wanting to return and recommend the hotel to others.

The concierge team went above and beyond, arranging a last-minute table at the Jazz Club a few doors away and even carrying my luggage several blocks into a parking garage. That old-school class and service really stood out. The neighborhood is central and chic, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We spent four fabulous nights at Hotel Bel Ami and are already looking forward to coming back. The rooms were clean and quiet, and breakfast was very good, with excellent coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in a great spot in St Germain de Pres, a smart district in Paris.
