Best Western Allegro Nation

The staff member on the four shift was so friendly and helpful, and gave us tips on getting around Paris. Sadly, I forgot to ask his name. The location was handy too, close to the metro, restaurants, shops, and a pharmacy.

The location worked well for us. It's quiet and outside the main tourist area, with places to eat within walking distance. The staff were friendly, but as someone who drinks a lot of coffee, I found the instant coffee didn't cut it. When I asked for more packets, they looked at me as if I were strange. We hadn't been to Europe before and chose Best Western because we'd had a good impression of it in the States. We found this hotel wasn't handicap friendly. The room was tiny, and the tub was very hard to get in and out of because of its height and the limited space. The hallways and stairs were small too.

We had no problems at this hotel and I left very pleased. It was comfortable and quiet, the hotel and our two rooms were clean and in good condition, and I didn't find any mold. The cleaning ladies did their job every day, despite the negative comments I'd read. Breakfast was more than OK, and the staff were great. I was hesitant to book for our family's five-night stay because I was worried about theft after reading the reviews. Then one morning I left my very expensive iPhone in the dining room. The people at reception found it and returned it before I even realized it was gone. I don't have any complaints.

How does this place have four stars? The service was unfriendly, the rooms were small, and some appliances were broken. I was also upset by the management's reply to my comment. You can see for yourself how they treat a client's opinion: they insult them. I've travelled around the world, and it makes me sad that Paris offers this level of hotel service.
