We'd gladly come back after a very good stay. The gentleman who helped us at checkout was especially welcoming, and the housekeeper was always cheerful and friendly. Our room on the upper floors was quiet and very dark at night, which was great for sleeping, and the bathroom was excellent. The facilities were good, and the location was ideal: we walked to nearly all the main attractions, only taking public transport to the airport and Versailles. Our first impression was less good. The night receptionist, around 10 p.m., wasn't very friendly or helpful. We don't speak French and had hoped he'd be more open to communicating in English. The elevator also took a while to figure out, since you enter the floor number first and then a code. He didn't come over to explain, which put a bit of a damper on check-in.

I had a great time here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel's in a very good spot, close to three Paris Metro stations and plenty of supermarkets and interesting shops.

The hotel itself was fine, and most of the staff were nice. But the manager's behavior made the experience so bad that I'll never come back. I can't recommend the hotel for that reason. We were charged €130 for a tiny load of laundry. When we asked staff what it would cost or if they had a list, they couldn't tell us. Our clothes came back with several items shrunk, and one was completely ruined. Staff shrugged when we asked about the price, saying there should have been a price list in our room. There wasn't, and they hadn't shown us one when we first asked. The manager blamed us for using the laundry service and said we should have known. She was very passive-aggressive, accused us of lying about the ruined item, raised her voice, and didn't seem interested in helping. I was completely gobsmacked. I've never been spoken to like that as a paying customer when I wasn't trying to start a fight.

We had two connecting rooms for our family of four. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the hotel is handy for transit on a quiet street. Our room was nicely decorated, though it had no view. We didn't eat there. We'd stay again.
