Best Western Plus Bretagne Montparnasse

It's an old building updated with modern comforts, and the hotel turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. From the friendly greeting at reception through checkout, we had a great experience. I can't remember the name of the man who welcomed us. We got there around noon after flying in, expecting to leave our bags and go explore, but our room was ready, so they let us check in early. That made it easy to sort out what we needed for the day. The room was compact but had everything we needed. There were little chocolates on the beds, robes in the cupboard, a bath and shower, and a hairdryer we used. They also had an iron and ironing board, though we didn't need them. The beds were comfortable, with enough linen to keep us warm. It's walkable from Gare Montparnasse, and buses and the metro are a short walk away, so we could get everywhere by public transport. After checkout, we left our luggage for the day since our train wasn't until later that afternoon. Breakfast was available to buy, but we didn't take it because we wanted to get out early and see as much as possible. The one drawback is that, like many old buildings, the rooms aren't very soundproof. That probably wouldn't bother most people, and it wouldn't put us off staying again if we're back in Paris.

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom huge, with perfectly adequate water pressure. The fridge had complimentary drinks and two bottles of their filtered water, and I found two chocolates on the bed, a lovely little touch. The location is excellent and the staff I met gave 5+ star service. It's not a luxury five-star hotel, but for the price, service, and location, it's an excellent place to stay in Paris. Definitely one of my best hotel experiences.

The room was clean and looked recently renovated, with a coffee machine and fridge that were nice extras. Staff at the front were friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with this hotel.

After checkout, I had an hour to wait outside the airport. Sandya kindly offered me a coffee and a place to sit at the hotel. I'd had a great four days there, and was simply delighted with the stay. The reception team were friendly and pleasant, and the desk is open 24/7, so they can help with any issue at any time. The hotel felt clean and cozy. On arrival, there was water, shampoo, coffee, and tea in the room, all included in the booking price. Even the little needle and thread kit impressed me and came in handy. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at, and I highly recommend it!
