From the upper floors, Paris stretches out below you in a breathtaking view of rooftops, landmarks, and everyday city life. That moment of wonder made the Centre Pompidou feel like a place to experience art, not just look at it. Before its temporary closure for renovation, it was one of my most memorable and joyful cultural visits in Paris. The atmosphere felt alive, with fun events, live music, and spectacular performances breaking away from the usual museum feel. Each floor had its own artistic world, and the bold, playful curation invited you to explore modern and contemporary works freely. The roller disco was an unforgettable highlight, bringing movement, sound, and art together in a way that captured the Centre Pompidou’s experimental spirit. Even getting up to the higher floors was rewarding. It felt like a creative playground where art, music, and people came together.
