Charming Apartment 2br/6p - Gare de L'est

The fridge didn't work at all, the bathroom drain was clogged, the Wi-Fi was out, and the beds were too soft and uncomfortable. We couldn't find the cutlery at first because it was in a hidden drawer under the oven. Someone did come to fix the drain, but the fridge had been broken for a long time. They asked us for a photo, but the motor was burned out. We needed it for food for our kids and had to throw a lot away, which cost us money. We had booked in Paris hoping for a great stay. We'd read bad reviews but figured the guests were being too picky. We were wrong. After we complained, the property offered one night's refund but didn't send it. They said PayPal wasn't working and asked for our bank details, but still no money arrived. After five months and many emails with Booking.com, we finally got the refund. Booking.com tried to help, while the property kept claiming it had sent the money and ignored emails. The property's customer service was terrible. They were dishonest, didn't seem to care about helping us, and didn't even respond to Booking.com's requests.
