The single rooms can be tiny and not especially luxurious, but everything works, you get used to the size, and they’re comfortable enough to sleep well. The staff are very kind, available 24/7, speak perfect English, and are professional. Color is just a stone’s throw from my train station and the trams. I really enjoyed my stay, thanks to the city and the staff. Being able to leave my luggage in storage made things much easier too. Thank you!

After booking, we tried several times to reach the hotel by email and phone to confirm they’d provide a crib for our baby. A month later, we decided to cancel instead. With customer service this poor, I’d strongly advise against booking a room here.

The room was bright and quiet, the location was great, and the reception team were really nice. But the photos don't match how it looks now. Maybe they were taken just after the renovation. There was mold in the shower corners and several marks on the walls. It just needs a proper clean and a fresh coat of paint.

The location is amazing, but we went three days without hot water in December and they refused to refund us. We don't want a voucher, and we have no intention of setting foot in this ridiculous hotel again.

We came back this year for Valentine's Day after staying here five years ago. This time our room was much bigger, and the hotel was still living up to its reputation for cleanliness. The heating was the one thing we couldn't figure out, though it wasn't too bad. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was great, and towels were provided. On our first visit the room was smaller, but plenty for two, and the shower was lovely and spacious. We'd stay here again.
