Rue Madame is quiet, and walking back from the St Sulpice metro at night felt fine. I’d definitely stay again. My street-facing room was clean and comfortable, with a clean bathroom, a large wash basin, bath/shower, toilet, and television. There’s a small lift to each floor and free wifi. Downstairs, the lounge is comfortable and has a PC, books, magazines, and tourist brochures. If you use your phone, tablet, or laptop in your room, reception staff can print documents for you. They were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was adequate, served by friendly staff, with apple puree, a fresh croissant, a long baguette style roll, hot or cold drinks, and different flavoured jams. The RER at Luxembourg gardens and the metro at Rennes and St Sulpice are within walking distance. There’s a small convenience store on the street, plus larger supermarkets, patisseries, and cafes a short walk away. I also noticed an auto lib electric car parking area farther up the street, and private cars parked along the street.

There’s a laundromat around the next corner and cafes across the street. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was good. It’s a good hotel in a quieter part of town, still close enough to walk or take the metro to the main attractions.

It’s an older hotel, but very clean. My room was quaint, and since I only used it to sleep, that was fine. There was no air conditioning, and the bathroom had a bathtub but no shower.

Clean place in a lovely part of Paris, and the breakfast was good.
