Eiffel Grenelle

The building is beautiful and reminds me of the Marie Antoinette era, and the location is ideal, literally around the corner from the Eiffel Tower. But the hotel itself wasn’t good. The walls are thin, the beds made us itch, and there’s no free water, toothpaste, or toothbrushes. The reception staff weren’t very friendly either. There’s no mini fridge or kettle in the room. Also, it’s 2025, could they provide international guests with power socket options?

A cozy hotel in a good spot. The rooms were well equipped, with a comfortable bed, excellent AC, and a good shower. Staff were very helpful. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

The bathroom was really good, very clean, and had both a tub and a shower. After running around for 12 hours, the comfortable bed was just what we needed. Our TV worked, unlike in some other reviews, though CNN International was the only English-language channel. We didn’t mind, since there was Wi-Fi and we mostly watched things on our own devices. The female staff in the mornings and afternoons were lovely and helpful. I didn’t have the right adapter to charge my things, and they lent us one for the whole stay, which helped a lot. The location is about a 30-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, with three metro stations and a few bus stops nearby. We liked the Parisian-style window, even though we didn’t get the Eiffel Tower view some other rooms had. The air conditioning didn’t work, but the weather was good while we were there, so opening the window was fine. Of all the European hotels we’ve stayed in, this was our favourite. Great stay, highly recommend.

We had booked a trip for a couple but couldn’t travel because of the security situation in Israel, which also led to our flights being cancelled. We emailed the hotel and got no reply or help. On the phone they said they wouldn’t cancel and that it was our problem. Other hotels and attractions, including the Louvre and the Opera Garnier museums, cancelled and refunded us. They showed humanity, but this hotel seems interested only in money, beyond any criticism. Disgusting. Theft is simply theft.
