Elysées Hotel

The lobby was cute, and you can’t beat the location. It’s a short walk from Champ Elysees, Layfette Galleria, Arc De Triomphe, and lots of food and shopping. We stayed three days in August. The room was clean and fairly quiet, and the front desk team were very accommodating, helping carry our luggage up and down the stairs. The elevator wasn’t working during our stay, so using the winding staircase every day was a physical challenge, especially from the higher floors.

We stayed for 5D4N and found the location excellent, about a three-minute walk to Champs Elysees, with several metro stations nearby for getting to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Gare du Nord, and elsewhere. The elevator was out when we visited, so they waived the city tax, which was nice. The staff were friendly, and we saw them carry a lot of luggage upstairs for the family ahead of us, something I didn’t expect from a small hotel. The rooms are basic, but the shower is fantastic and housekeeping comes daily. Highly recommended for the convenience, location, and facilities.

The elevators weren’t working, so climbing the stairs four or five times a day was tiring. The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff were pleasant and professional.

The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of storage for our things. The hotel is very close to the Eiffel Tower and within walking distance of many other points of interest. Several restaurants are right on the corner. Since October was warm, we slept with the window ajar to the courtyard and woke to the smell of pastries cooking in the kitchen. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choices.
