Exceptional Appt - Saint-germain- Mobility Lease

Breakfast had everything we needed and was delicious, and the bed was comfortable enough that we slept well. The room was small but very clean, with a nice view of the Eiffel tower. The whole staff were kind, helpful, and open minded. We’d highly recommend staying at the Welcome Hotel in Paris. Perfect!

A staff member came into my room without knocking while I was asleep, which felt intrusive and unprofessional. I was also very disappointed when I returned and found my sunglasses, in a pink case, missing from beside the bed near the entrance. I can only think of two possibilities: someone entered during cleaning, or someone came in during the 30 minutes the door had accidentally been left unlocked. What bothered me further was that staff didn’t seem willing to investigate or help find the item. I understand a hotel can’t control every situation, but a professional response would at least mean checking with housekeeping or looking into what may have happened. The experience left me feeling that guest privacy and security aren’t taken seriously. I strongly recommend improving room access control, staff training, and the way complaints are handled.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the room was clean, but several bathroom problems made the stay less enjoyable. There was a strong smell from the drain, lots of mold in the shower, water leaked onto the floor when showering, the sink drained poorly, and there were no hooks for used towels. I should have brought it up sooner. When I mentioned it at checkout, the staff were understanding and kindly offered complimentary breakfast as compensation. Lovely team, but the facilities need attention.

The location is amazing, and the room, though small, was really, really clean. Everything the hotel provided felt carefully done and good quality. The staff were kind, professional, friendly, and seemed happy to serve. I’d definitely come back.
