Hotel Exe Paris Centre

We’d return for the pleasant atmosphere and the good value. We paid 174€ for one night with breakfast, and the bed was comfortable. Getting around was easy too, with metro, train, and bus stops all within a 10-minute walk. The staff were nice and let us leave our luggage outside check-in hours. The romantic experience we’d paid for in advance was forgotten. After we reminded the staff, we had to collect the wine and chocolates ourselves, and their quality was average at best. Breakfast partly made up for it, with lots of choice and good-quality products. In the room, the shower leaked onto the floor, and the doors had gaps of about 2 inches and couldn’t be locked.

The hotel is well placed for getting around, between Gare Saint-Lazare and Liège metro stations, with public transport easily accessible. The staff were very welcoming and polite, and both the room and the building were clean and well maintained, despite the building being a bit old. The room was comfortable enough for a short visit. Breakfast tasted good, though there wasn’t much choice. Sound carries: we could hear other rooms, the corridor, and even the metro, which seems to run underneath the building. A decent option if you want a clean, convenient base with friendly staff and don’t mind background noise.

The room was spacious, clean, and really comfortable, and the location put us right in the city centre, close to everything. The whole team was accommodating when we asked to switch to a street view room, even though someone other than Mohammed helped with that. Mohammed at reception was especially kind and welcoming, and made sure we had what we needed throughout our stay. We had a great time and highly recommend it.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the team were kind, attentive, and welcoming. We had a small problem with our first room assignment on day one, but the staff sorted it out kindly and professionally. They also surprised us with delicious macarons. I’d eaten half before I remembered to take a photo! We had a wonderful stay at Exe Paris Centre and would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.
