First Hotel Paris Tour Eiffel

The room was on the top floor, with great Eiffel Tower views from the windows, and it still felt spacious with the sofa bed open. We booked the “guaranteed eiffel tower view” room, so we were thrilled with that. We arrived at 12pm and couldn’t check in until 3pm, but one of the male staff took our bags for storage. At 4pm, check-in brought another surprise: we were greeted by 5 smiling staff members, all very professional. The bathroom had essentials like shavers and a toothbrush in case you forgot yours. We took lots of daytime and nighttime photos, including the tower sparkling. It’s within walking distance of the tower, a supermarket, train, and restaurants, and there’s an excellent bakery on the ground floor.

We had a top-floor room with a balcony and an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower at the First Hotel near the Eiffel Tower. The staff were pleasant and made us feel welcome throughout. We really enjoyed the stay, would highly recommend it, and will definitely return when we’re back in Paris.

The Eiffel Tower view was the best, and it was about a 20 min walk to get there. We loved the rooms, especially the very comfortable bed, and we’ll be back. The staff were amazing, kind, and accommodating with the extra items we requested. They also provided adapters because ours from London were the wrong ones, though we did pay for them. They let us leave our bags on both check-in and check-out days so we could go sightseeing without carrying our luggage.

The metro right outside made getting around much easier, and the facilities were very clean. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The coffee machine and TV were good, and having a safe to use was great. We thought breakfast at €18pp was extortionate, though, so we went to the tidy bakery next door instead. Mcdonalds was also just down the street. We weren’t told about the city tax, around €8pp/n, which came to about €50 for us. And on our last day, a cleaner walked into our room without knocking. That was a big no.
