Grand Hotel Leveque

The staff really made the stay. When we first checked in through Expedia, we got a small room with no view and a minor water leak. They were kind and responsive, and quickly moved us to a better room with a nice view. The front desk team were very friendly, gave us helpful ideas for things to do, and room service was reliable and efficient. The hotel sits on a lively street full of restaurants and local shops, and it’s around a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Most of the Paris sights we wanted to see were within a 30-minute walk. The rooms are smaller than a typical U.S. hotel, as you’d expect in Europe, but that didn’t spoil anything. We had a wonderful stay and would choose it again next time we’re in Paris.

The one thing missing was a mini fridge. Otherwise, the room was very clean and seemed recently updated, with a smart thermostat and heated towel rack. We could even see the Eiffel Tower from the window. Wi-Fi was fast, and the friendly staff spoke very good English. I liked being able to message them on WhatsApp anytime. Grand Hôtel Lévêque is on Rue Cler, around a 10-15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. There’s an ALDI at the end of the street, an ATM across the road, the Metro is 5 minutes away, and plenty of French and Chinese restaurants are close by.

A special thanks to Anis, who helped us so much during the stay. We really appreciated the support and hospitality from him and all the kind, helpful staff. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the central location made it easy to explore and get around. The trip was even more memorable because of our stay. I’d recommend the hotel and would love to come back.

My only real annoyance was the closet, which wasn’t long enough for my coats, so they got creased. The front desk lent me an iron, though, and the thermostat let me adjust the room temperature, which I especially liked. The hotel is small, but my room was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It’s within a fairly easy walk of many Paris attractions and restaurants. Housekeeping was great, breakfast was sufficient, and reception were helpful.
