Hipotel Paris Belgrand Marie 20ème

Handy for our medical appointments at the nearby hospital. The staff are really friendly, and the cleaning is good.

Worst place I’ve stayed in more than 20 years of travelling. The other one-star reviews are telling the truth, I suspect the good ones are fake. The staff seemed sketchy and rude. Rooms are tiny and often have trash left behind, and it’s very noisy. Poor value too, since there are plenty of other hotels for a little more. Go somewhere else.

It was easy to get around with the metro right beside this clean, pleasant hotel. The room was a good size, with a window I could open, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The maid came every day. Whenever I needed directions or help with calls, the front desk took care of it and really went the extra mile. Rates were reasonable, so I’d recommend it.

The rooms are on the small side, but ventilation was good in both the room and bathroom, and housekeeping kept everything tidy each day and arrived right on time. Yazid at reception was especially helpful with directions and getting around, which is great if it’s your first time in Paris. The metro and tram are very close. A great budget stay!
