Holiday Inn Paris - Auteuil by IHG

The two women serving breakfast gave top-notch service, and the reception team were courteous and attentive. Breakfast was excellent too. I was pleasantly surprised by this charming, quiet hotel. The double room was spacious and clean, and the metro nearby made getting around easy. Looking forward to coming back.

The room had a coffee machine, small fridge, AC, and a large TV. It was spacious and quiet, and the price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and breakfast was great. Though the hotel is at Paris's southern end, it's right by a metro station, and bus 72 can take you anywhere along the Seine.

The staff were kind, and breakfast was the same each day, but everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel is next to a metro station in a safe neighborhood, and the Eiffel Tower is about a 20-minute metro ride away. The beds were split and small. The AC was always disabled, and because the room was well insulated it stayed extremely hot, like a sauna at night. Staff turned down every request to switch it on, saying they disabled AC in all rooms because they didn't think it was hot. We had to put up with the heat or open the window and trade it for noise. At the high room price, that was unacceptable.

The rooms are clean and a good size, the beds comfortable though a little soft, and the bathroom, toilet, and shower all worked well. There's an elevator, the neighborhood is good, and you're close to restaurants and the metro. Keep your eyes open a little in the area. This is a very good deal for budget travelers: the hotel isn't in the center or near the main tourist area, but it's very clean and reasonably priced. At 46 rooms, it's the smallest Holiday Inn in Europe. Breakfast is included and decent, though I had a few reservations about it.
