Hôtel Aix Europe

I had a one star review ready on the first night, but my opinion changed the longer I stayed. The walls are paper thin, but the room is also so quiet that every little sound seems amplified. I put on a white noise app on my phone and that fixed it right away. You really need one in the room or you'll go crazy. Service was great, the location was perfect, and my room was clean when I arrived and cleaned every day. It's a 2 star hotel, so I don't get why people expect 5 star accommodations. I'm taking off a star because the wifi got a bit janky in the evening. I don't think they ever reboot the routers.

We found the rooms okay, and the service was good. The guy was friendly. Supermarkets, food options, and public transport were all within walking distance, so the location was ideal. The walls are very, very thin, though, and we got woken up several times during the night. Apart from that, everything was excellent.

The price was cheap, but the room was dirty, with stuff all over the floor. Ants were crawling all over the bedside cabinets, which was not okay. A bad room is one thing, but bugs everywhere is another. It was loud too, with people going up and down the stairs all night.

I felt very safe here, and the staff were really friendly. It's a simple place, but very clean, and reception is open 24 hours. They offer coffee anytime for $2 and a small breakfast for $4. I had a great experience. Thank you very much. Merci 🫶🏻💗
