Hotel Au Manoir Saint-Germain

We've stayed here before and plan to return on our next trip to Paris. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean, comfortable and a good size. My wife and I stayed at Hotel Au Manoir Saint Germain for a holiday visit. The location works perfectly for us, close to restaurants, the Metro and the bus stop, with a taxi stand right out front.

We had a mix of room types for our family holiday. The standard room was quite small, but its bathroom had a wall heater that was great for warming towels and hanging socks. We also had a Premier room overlooking their ‘terrace’. It and the bathroom were larger, but unfortunately there was no bathroom door, which might suit a couple but felt awkward for other relationships. Apart from that, the service was good, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly in summer. They were generous with soap and moisturizer, and the toilet paper was thick, lol. The location was great and the rooms were good enough.

Our first-floor room was comfortable and quiet, set away from the main road. The ground-floor decor was gorgeous, and the location was perfect, with lots to see and do in the area at any hour. We loved our stay at this charming boutique hotel. The staff were friendly, attentive and quick to respond.

We stayed six nights and would easily return. The rooms were great and big enough for the two of us, the staff very friendly, and breakfast at 5 euros each was a nice start to the day. We came on a strong recommendation and weren't disappointed. The location was great, opposite Cafe Flore and down from the Louvre. The Metro is right across from the Hotel. Notre Dame is about a 40-minute walk to the right, and the Tower about the same distance to the left.
