The rooms felt small and plain, and the lobby was a bit too cool for comfort, which didn’t make for the most welcoming atmosphere. Given those drawbacks, some guests might find the nightly price steep. On the plus side, the staff were warm and hospitable, always trying to help with a friendly smile. Breakfast had a good range of choices, and the central Paris location made it easy to reach many attractions. Hotel Banke Opera, Autograph Collection has both things to improve and a lot going for it as a centrally located base.

The location was excellent, with most major attractions within walking distance. Everyone I met on staff was warm, polite, and friendly. My room was nicely furnished, a good size, well lit, and had enough storage. One of my best hotel stays recently!

The dinner room service menu was my one reservation. It arrived quickly, and the staff were great, but there wasn’t much to choose from and the food didn’t do much for me. There are great restaurants right around the corner, so I’d head out if you can. Otherwise, I had a wonderful stay. The room was excellent, hands down the most comfortable I’ve had in Paris despite having been here many times for work. The staff were exceptional, and breakfast was delicious with a great selection.

Paris wasn’t even on my travel plans, but I suddenly found myself there without a hotel booked. A friend suggested this place, and after a few calls I booked directly through the manager, who upgraded us to a suite. The hotel is nice and has its own character. Staff were very friendly, and our room was spacious with a really comfortable bed. I didn’t have time to eat at the hotel. It wasn’t cheap, but for a last-minute booking it worked out well. The main attractions aren’t very close, so walking there can be a bit of a slog.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, whether we needed a cab or a dinner recommendation. The front desk staff all spoke English, too. Housekeeping came twice daily, and the room was spotless. At night they left chocolates on the pillows, a mat on each side of the bed, and a rose.
