Getting around was easy, with Pernity metro station just steps away and a bus stop right across from the front doors for trips around town or to and from the airports. The front desk staff all spoke English and were very helpful. They even stored my luggage while I went to Porto for two days, and when I needed a US plug adapter, it was brought to my room within minutes. The restaurant and lounge, as well as the foyer lounge, are cozy and instagramable spots to plug in your devices and unwind. Rooms are small but well designed and comfortable. The soaps and shampoo are good quality, and the linens and towels were clean and like new.

The room had everything I needed, and it was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly, and the location was good. But the noise came through constantly. I could hear clanking, people talking, and doors opening because the sound insulation was so poor.

The staff were really kind, and the service was great. The toilet door in our room was a little hard to open, though. There are lovely bakeries nearby, including a vegan one, and a good sushi spot called panda26. The hotel is a bit farther out, but the metro is right next door.

We only stayed one night, and I wish it had been longer. The location in the Montparnasse region is great, with major metro stops and shops within walking distance. Mosuke is on the same street and serves a great West African-Japanese Michelin-starred experience. Yann was amazing, and the drinks and baked goods offered at check-in were a lovely surprise. The hotel has warm wood decor, a cute patio, and a wooden walkway at the back. Our room had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable.

The room was fine, if a bit small, and the location was perfect in central Paris. Still, there were a few problems during the stay. We had to go to reception three times: first because the room smelled of smoke, then because the card opener for the new room was damaged, and again to get keys. On our last morning, the fire alarm went off by accident at 6:30, and it woke us up.
