Hôtel D'Argenson

I paid the full price in advance for an October 13 stay in Paris, then realized I’d made a small mistake with the date. I contacted the hotel to ask if they could extend the booking or at least deduct one night and refund the rest. They refused both options and offered no solution. That lack of flexibility and effort to satisfy a customer was very disappointing. The hotel may look nice or have a good location, but the way guests are treated matters more. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was beautiful and quiet, and the balcony had a nice view. Luna at reception was especially kind and helpful with advice, reservations, and anything else we needed. The hotel was clean, well located, and had amazing staff.

The rooms are stunning, and the staff were very friendly. The location is perfect, too. I don’t understand why this is listed as a 2-star hotel. I’ve stayed in plenty of 4- and 5-star places that weren’t nearly this nice.

I've stayed here before, about 10 years ago, and have come back as a repeat customer. They seem to be modernizing the rooms. They're small and clearly meant for people who come for the location, not to spend time in the room. There's no fridge, but the service is nice and the staff are friendly. Checkout at noon is strict. I booked through a reputable website and was told on arrival that I owed $9 in tax. It wasn't a big deal, but they could mention it online. Overall, it feels easy here, and as a low-key traveler, I'd come again. Very good location and a super reasonable price.
