Hôtel Dalila

The neighborhood was lovely, with good bakeries, a supermarket right across the street, and the metro just a two-minute walk away. We stayed one night on a quick city break, and the hotel is on a quiet street. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, but it has what you need. A nice surprise was being able to see Sacre Coeur from my fifth-floor room.

I booked at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised by the location, close to the metro. The place looks recently renovated, with a cute interior and a cool staircase. The rooms are small but functional, and Shelby at reception was kind, friendly, and smiley. Just be aware that the bathrooms are extremely small, and the bathroom door is like a cupboard. If you want a big bathroom, this probably isn’t the place for you.

The co-working space worked perfectly for me, and breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel seems to have been renovated recently. Everyone was friendly. Thanks to Lisa, Malik, Sébastien, and all the cast members. The location was handy too: I had to catch a very early train to Strasbourg this morning, and the main station was only a couple of minutes away.

The staff were the best part of the stay. The person who checked me in was kind and polite, and I felt welcome. Check-out was just as pleasant. Housekeeping also did a great job. The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast cost 15 euros and was okay, though there wasn’t much variety. The bathroom was very small, inconvenient, and extremely cold. Please do something about that, especially in winter. The hotel itself and the area could both use improvement, though I’d consider returning if the rooms were improved a bit. The location has pros and cons. The metro is very close, as is Sacre-Ceaur basilica, but the streets and area felt very dirty, with bins and rubbish out on the street. I didn’t feel safe walking there late at night. My stay was okay overall, and I appreciated the hospitality. Au Revoir.
