Hotel de la cité Rougemont

Right in the heart of Paris, this was a great base for exploring the city. The room was small, but very clean and quiet.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. It’s a nice hotel on a quiet street, close to a Metro stop, so getting around to the sights was easy.

I picked this hotel because nearby places were much more expensive, and I’d gladly stay here again. The room was a good size, nicely decorated, clean, and had a good-sized TV. A fan was provided, and there were plenty of sockets for charging devices, something some other hotels lack. The bathroom was also quite large, with a wet room shower. I didn’t eat breakfast, but the dining area was busy when I looked in, and the food and drinks seemed to offer a good selection. The hotel is just a few minutes from a Metro station. Staff were very nice and kept my luggage for a few hours after checkout. I’ll check availability here first on my next Paris trip.

We had a very pleasant, quiet night, even though the hotel is central. There are good restaurants and bars nearby with lots of different cuisines, and the Metro and bus stops are only about five minutes away. We booked a room for three and had room to move around, even with our suitcases on the floor. It was a little bigger than I expected, and the bathroom was clean with a bathtub. There’s no AC, but I think that’s normal in Europe, and the fan worked fine. You can leave luggage in the lobby before check-in or after checkout. The location is the best, and we’ll definitely come back.
