Hôtel de la Place des Alpes

The reception staff were really kind and helpful, and getting to the Louvre or Eiffel Tower took just one metro ride. I spent three nights here and was glad I chose it. As a solo traveler looking for somewhere clean, safe, affordable, and close to the metro, it worked well for me. The room and bathroom are very small, and there isn’t much to see or eat nearby. The hotel feels old, almost like being in Paris in the 90s, but it’s quite reasonable once you remember it isn’t a five-star place.

The room was small but very practical, and the hotel was quiet and clean. The staff were so polite and friendly. I’ll always remember the sweet woman at reception kindly helping when my phone got locked. I stayed four nights and really liked the location. If I return to Paris, I’ll choose this hotel again.

The rooms are tiny, and the 10 euro breakfast was pretty minimal. Still, the location was perfect, and I didn’t mind the room size at all for the price. I arrived feeling sick, so having lots of restaurants and takeout places nearby, plus a large supermarket, was a big help. The hotel was very quiet, the front desk staff were friendly, and they open the front door after checking guests in, which made security feel very good.
