Hotel De La Poste

Nothing special, and the neighborhood gets noisy. Still, the bed and facilities were clean, it’s near Paris-Nord, and the price is very affordable.

The desk staff were kind, but I wouldn’t stay here again. I’d gladly pay a bit more for a better hotel next time. The room didn’t feel very hygienic, the whole place had a strange bitter smell, and the toilet was broken for quite a while. The shower shared by the floor wasn’t somewhere I wanted to get clean. The noise at night, from both the street and the hotel, might bother others too. The sound insulation really wasn’t good.

My wife and I were happy with the service. I liked having a bar on the ground floor, and the coffee was delicious and reasonably priced. The bartenders were gentle and kind. I believe our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels, new soap and shower gel, and paper cups. Thanks, everyone, we appreciated it! ☺️

It was an inexpensive stay, with a clean room, towels provided, and good service for the price. There was always someone at the counter, and they even kept an eye on me while I waited for my Uber. There’s no elevator, and the toilets are separate, next to the stairs. My main concern is the district. I didn’t feel it was safe at night, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to explore Paris after dark without worrying about your safety.
