Hotel de la Tour

I picked the Hotel de la Tour mainly because it’s so close to Gare Montparnasse. There are shops and restaurants just steps away, along with the Paris catacombs, Our Lady of Labour Catholic Church, and theaters. My room was basic but practical for traveling alone. Breakfast was very good, and they brought it to my room at the time I asked.

We ate really well at Cafe Chez Milou (Rue de Maine) and Le Plomp du Cantal (Rue de la Gaite). The hotel’s in Montparnasse, handy for both the subway and railway station, and the service was friendly. Breakfast was nice too. Thank you Franscoise...Merci 🫶

The cafes downstairs are real, but I couldn’t hear them from my room, and I slept well. I paid a fair price for a clean room with good facilities. The location was excellent, and I could choose what I wanted for breakfast and when to have it brought up. These folks are the real deal. There’s a reason this hotel rates higher than the ones nearby, you can work that out.

The staff at Hotel de la Tour were amazing, and the location is prime. After I’d flown home, I realized I’d left my laundry at the laundry place. I was panicking. I’d booked a courier to pick it up and send it to me, but couldn’t reach the laundry place to explain or ask them to print the collection label. I don’t speak French, so I messaged the hotel. They picked up my laundry, printed the label, and took it back there. Who else would go that far to help? Such kind, wonderful people and an amazing experience. When you visit Paris, this is the place to stay. Thank you for everything, I really appreciate it ❤️
