Hotel du Temps Paris

The neighborhood has lots of lovely little restaurants, and the hotel itself is cozy and very Parisian. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, especially Shani. We’ll definitely be back.

The hygiene here is unacceptable. I found a blood-stained towel in my room and reported it to reception, but they immediately blamed me. I hadn’t caused it, so I asked them to make some goodwill gesture, and they refused. After I first posted a negative review, they asked me to remove it in exchange for a refund. I agreed, but they still didn’t keep their promise. The manager and staff are dishonest and show no respect for customers. I strongly advise against staying here.

For what I paid, I’d give it 9+/10 and would stay again. My room was spotless, and the whole building felt clean. It had central AC and heat, outlets by the bed, and still kept an old Paris feel with painted wood floors and cabinets. The bed was comfortable, and I stayed on a weekday on the third floor without hearing the restaurant downstairs. The room was a good size for one person, though probably tight for a couple or friends. The lack of a privacy blind between the sleeping area and bathroom would make sharing it uncomfortable. There was no coffee maker, but the restaurant downstairs seemed to serve hot drinks. The staff at both the desk and restaurant were incredibly kind. I felt they’d do anything to help guests feel comfortable and secure. The location is excellent: one block from the Metro 7 Line entrance for the museums and the Marais, and a quick bus ride or 11-minute walk to Gare du Nord, with its CDG airport connection. Franprix is just around the corner for sandwiches and snacks, and there’s a surprising number of restaurants nearby.

The staff were really friendly and helped with all kinds of requests. We could walk from the hotel in every direction, and everything felt close by. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were lovely for a relaxed stay, and the view was amazing to wake up to. This was exactly what we wanted for our holiday. We’ll definitely return.
