Hôtel Eiffel Segur

The view was incredible, one of the best things to wake up to with a coffee. The location also made things easy, with the Metro close by and shops, bakeries, and tourist spots just a few minutes away. Staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. Paris rooms are small, as expected, but for the price this room was better equipped than many franchise hotels like Ibis. It had everything two people needed: tea and coffee, a mini fridge, wardrobe, and a bathroom with shower. Any more than two people would have been a squeeze. The bed and drink were refreshed daily. The walls are very thin. A family next door with a baby a couple of months old woke us up often during the night, while the tram line outside the window didn't wake us at all. That's the gamble with a hotel, but the road itself won't wake you. One thing to keep in mind is that the city tax wasn't part of the initial cost and had to be paid at the hotel. That's not an issue with the hotel, just something to be aware of.

The neighborhood felt clean and safe, with two Metro stations a short distance away. UNESCO, the Eiffel Tower, and Le Hôpital des Invalides are all within walking distance. Don't miss Bibo around the corner if you want a really good burger.

The location was good, and breakfast was basic. Rooms were a little small, but clean, with a decent shower and a fairly comfortable bed. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Recommended.

We stayed for a week in September and would come back. The location is great, with several Metro lines nearby to get around the city, lots of restaurants, and a 20 minute walk straight to the spot under the Eiffel Tower. Everyone on staff was really friendly. Our room was small, as we knew Paris hotel rooms tend to be. There was some mold in the bathroom, and the shower was so cramped that I had to turn off the water to wash my hair, though my husband was fine with it. The elevator only holds one person with luggage at a time, so we mostly took the stairs.
