The hospitality was what made the stay feel like home: the staff were genuinely lovely, leaving little treats, a personalized note on the bed and mirror, and a welcome gift. They also served Afternoon Tea with snacks each day and French wine with cheese in the evening. The rooms were clean and the bed cozy. We liked the trendy but quiet neighborhood, with cafes around and lights that made us feel safe walking even late at night. Buses and metro stops are very close, and it took about a 20 minute bus ride to the city centre. Great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend it and will be back next time I'm in Paris.

A lovely touch was the complimentary snacks available during the day, and the staff were kind, professional and always ready to help with a smile. We felt genuinely welcome as soon as we arrived. The rooms and shared spaces were spotlessly clean and clearly cared for. The location is excellent, close to central Paris and convenient for exploring on foot or by public transport. Service, cleanliness and comfort all exceeded our expectations. We'd highly recommend the hotel and would stay again.

We hardly needed public transport because the hotel is so well positioned near the city centre, though the metro, bus and train station are very close. Staff were super kind and professional. We paid for breakfast at the hotel and it was phenomenal. One of the best hotels I've stayed at, and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

The hotel’s shared spaces were pleasant, the staff were kind, and the neighborhood was quiet with good bakeries and restaurants nearby. The Metro was just a few minutes away, and walking straight down to Place de la Concorde took about 30 minutes. Cleanliness was generally good. We also liked the idea of afternoon tea at 4pm and cheese and wine at 6pm, though we didn’t try either. Our room was the main letdown. I expected it to be small, but not to have the toilet and shower in separate tiny rooms or no view at all. Both rooms were oddly triangular, leaving hardly any space to dry off, and the smaller shower head looked a bit grimy. Towels were replaced daily, although one day our large towels were taken and only hand towels were left. The window looked onto high walls and other windows instead of the Paris rooftops, and that sometimes made the room feel claustrophobic. Other reviews suggest some standard doubles have a full bathroom and a view of the sky, so I think we got unlucky with ours. There were a few other annoyances. The fire alarm went off at 7am one morning, but it was a false alarm. We couldn’t adjust the room temperature, and I woke up overheated on a few nights. The hotel’s messages kept coming, one after another, about it being a home away from home, even after we’d checked out. The sweet treats, balloons, and Instagram-friendly touches are nice, but I’d have been happier with a window to look out of and a bathroom with enough room to move around.
