Hôtel Le Walt by Inwood Hotels

The view was beautiful, and we were lucky to catch part of the tower from our window. It’s a small hotel with a great location, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Ann Marie looked after us so warmly every morning at breakfast, making it feel like we were at home 😇. We’d also like to thank the front desk team, Nayara and Monica, who were welcoming and ready to help with whatever we needed. We were so happy with our stay. This little hotel has its own vibe and soul, the kind of place you want to return to again and again. We’re already planning our next Paris trip and will definitely stay here again. Le Walt’s front desk staff were gracious, friendly, and very helpful. Aside from them and being close to the Eiffel Tower, the hotel was underwhelming. Compared with other four-star hotels in Europe, it falls well short of its rating. The rooms are very small, the walls and furniture are beat up, and the carpeted hallways made getting a suitcase to the room difficult. No one offered bellhop help with the bags, either bringing them inside when we arrived or taking them up or down. The online photos look much nicer than the actual property. I’m surprised it still has a four-star rating, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is an easy walk from the Eiffel Tower and the main shopping district, with two metro stations right out front. The street-facing room was quiet, and though it was a little small for our taste, the bed was super comfortable. The room was clean, the bathroom had been updated, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. I only wish there’d been two luggage racks, so consider upgrading if you prefer more space. We’re a bit critical of hotels, but overall we were pleased. The front desk staff were incredible. I can’t remember the name of the woman who checked us in, but she was the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff member we’ve ever had. She took time to share her own suggestions for food, pastries, and sightseeing, and helped us with directions.

The metro is right outside, and we could walk to the Eiffel Tower. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm, professional, and always glad to help. We had a faultless stay and would happily recommend the hotel.
