Hôtel Littéraire Marcel Aymé, BW Premier Collection

After hiking up the hill in Montmartre, we arrived with 2 rooms booked and were treated really well by the friendly staff. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a simple elegance. Stepping onto the small balcony, we got the unexpected surprise of a perfect, unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower. It’s a gem of a hotel in Paris, and we’ll be back.

The interior is adorable, cute and just right for a French getaway. The hotel sits in the charming central part of Montmartre, with the best restaurants only a 5 minute walk away and sightseeing like the basilica and the original moulins about 10 minutes on foot.

Whenever we visit Paris, we stay here. The Montmartre location is fantastic, close to two different Metro lines. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are great, with lots of little touches. Breakfast costs a bit much, but it’s good and has plenty of options. They also used to offer a drink with the daily afternoon cake or treat, but that seems to have been removed.

There’s plenty around the neighborhood, shops, restaurants, bakeries, art on every corner, and the people are very welcoming. The area is extremely clean, and it’s convenient to get around, with most places reachable by walking or taxi, like anywhere in Paris. The location feels enchanting and lively. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious for a French hotel, with modern but cozy decor, AC that cooled the room at night, and a really nice shower. I liked having the toilet separate from the shower, so one person could shower while the other used the RR. I loved the charm of this place. The staff were phenomenal. It was my first time in Paris, and they helped arrange airport transportation and gave me guidance on getting around. I’d asked for certain accommodations and they delivered, meeting all my expectations and more. It’s a great place if you want Parisian art around you and want to immerse yourself in the culture. I’ll definitely stay longer next time.
