I enjoyed the hotel itself, but the price didn’t line up with the service quality. We weren’t told in advance that the outdoor pool was closed, even though the hotel must have known when we booked. That felt very unfair and not like the behavior of a five-star hotel. The staff weren’t service-oriented, especially in the restaurant, where their attitude was disastrous. The indoor pool is great, but three quarters of it are blocked off for “non-recreational” swimmers, so there’s very limited space to use it. We won’t be coming back.

The spa treatment was excellent, and the massage was one of the best I’ve had. Our room was amazing, with a beautiful view over the swimming pool, and dinner at the restaurant was wonderful, with food and service at a very high standard. The Guest Relations Manager and receptionist welcomed me warmly on arrival, and my car was taken straight to the hotel garage. Staff across the hotel were consistently friendly, attentive, and efficient, with quick, professional service. I also really enjoyed chatting with the Hotel Manager, an outstanding professional and a genuinely great person. It’s in an excellent location, and I’d be delighted to return.

The biggest concern was a door that never latched properly. The stairwell and lifts needed a room key, but the lobby door into the stairwell stayed ajar after closing, so anyone in the lobby could get to the rooms. I reported it to several front desk staff, and it still hadn’t been fixed by the end of my five-night stay. There was plenty I liked at Molitor Hotel: the bed and overall comfort, the generous, good-quality breakfast, and especially the fitness facilities and range of classes. I didn’t try the pool, but it looked inviting. The staff were consistently courteous, and Ali was particularly helpful with our vehicle when we arrived. The location takes a long drive and several stops to reach Paris’s main sights, but I felt the stay was good value.

The pool is fantastic and has some history behind it, and the service was polite and decent. The room was fine, though I wasn’t a fan of having the toilet and shower in separate rooms. It’s a handy base for Roland Garros or local business, with lots of e-bikes outside and plenty of Ubers around for getting a cab. Breakfast was pretty standard, so €30 felt like too much.

The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. I also enjoyed the Seabass at dinner, and breakfast was very good with excellent service. I had a great day at hotel Molitor using the pool, working out, and enjoying the steam room. The service could use a little more work in some areas. I’d recommend staying here.
