Hotel Montpensier

For my first solo trip and first visit to Paris, I couldn't have picked a better hotel. My single room on the top, fifth floor, was clean and more spacious than I expected. It worked perfectly for me, and could suit a solo traveler or a couple on a budget. There's one elevator, but it's cramped, so big luggage isn't a great idea. The location is perfect, literally a minute from the local metro station and just as close to the Lourve. Gare du Nord/I'Est is a 20-30 minute metro or taxi ride away. The staff were kind and helpful, and could assist in English when needed. I really have nothing negative to say. It was a 10/10, and I'd book again. Thanks so much for making my stay in Paris magnificent!

The staff, cleanliness, room temperature, location, and breakfast were all excellent. It comfortably covers all the basics, and I'd definitely stay again.

The room and bathroom were spacious, and the hotel was quiet despite being central. It’s a five-minute walk from the Louvre and two minutes from Palais Royal. The place is basic, and the stairs could use some refreshing, but we didn't mind much. The reception staff were friendly.

The AC was a lifesaver on the boiling hot days, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It's a clean, simple, no-frills place in a location that's hard to beat. We really loved our stay.
