Hotel Paris Bercy

We rented the place for daytime use so we could freshen up and leave our luggage. I can't comment on the bed or furniture. It's conveniently located, less than a kilometer from the train station. The staff member named Shenkyb was especially helpful and gave us lots of useful tips for getting around Paris.

The location was great, but the room was musty and there were no plugs in the bedroom. There was just one near the ceiling, connected to the TV. The staff weren't helpful, and carrying luggage up the winding stairs to the top floor was horrendous because there's no lift. I couldn't find a single thing to recommend.

The older man who works here showed no respect for privacy. I went out quickly to buy drinks for my family because there was no kettle. While I was gone, they were showering with the door open since it wouldn't close properly. Then this man barged into the room, opening the door himself and shouting at them to close the shower door. My family was frightened. The carpets were unclean, everything in the bathroom was broken, and the windows were revolting. This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever seen. If you want someone barging into your room, go ahead and stay here. This place needs to shut down.

The room was reasonably clean, and the old man at reception was kind, but the communication was practically zero because he spoke only French, which sadly we didn't speak. He really seemed like a character from Fawlty Towers. You'll understand if you ever go. We booked for two, but there was only one of everything: one pillow, one towel, and one soap. I ended up sleeping without a pillow. The bathroom was awkward too. If you're a normal adult who wants to sit in front of the mirror, you can't do it with the door closed. The shower door was broken, and the problem wasn't just that it wouldn't close. I couldn't figure out how to get in. There was only one plug in the room, so two people couldn't charge their phones at the same time. I also couldn't use my own hair appliances, and there wasn't even a blow-dryer. Honestly, if you're alone and just want to sleep, you could stay here. That's about it.
