Public transport is easy to use from Hôtel Paris Villette, so getting into central Paris and back was straightforward. I also found it quiet enough to rest after walking around the city. The rooms are compact, as you’d expect in Paris, but clean, tidy, and functional, with comfortable beds and well-kept bathrooms. It’s a practical three-star choice for a short stay, especially if you value cleanliness and a calm atmosphere. One thing to know is how the heating works. There’s a thermostat, and setting it to 25°C so that 25 is clearly displayed gets the heating going and the room warms gradually. Reception controls the settings automatically, so you may need to ask the front desk to adjust the temperature. I noticed the guests who hadn’t done that were the ones most often saying their rooms were cold. It’s a useful detail to know, rather than a major flaw.

The staff were really kind, and the location was all right, but the stay was very underwhelming and poor value for the price. The room smelled, there were hairs on the supposedly clean bed, and the bathroom had mold. It was also far too small to shower properly, and the walls didn’t block much sound. Breakfast wasn’t fresh, with lots of pre-packaged food. I don’t understand the positive reviews and wouldn’t recommend it.

Mourad gave especially thoughtful service and went out of his way to make our stay feel special. The whole team made us feel welcome, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well looked after. Everything seemed carefully handled. I’d recommend this place if you want an easy, pleasant stay.

We had a great time here, and it was good value for money. The hotel is close to a station, and the rooms were comfortable. The staff were very caring, especially Mourad, who accommodated anything we needed.

A small hotel with clean rooms and great service. The air conditioning was perfect even in 35-degree summer weather, and they cleaned the rooms every day. The Wi-Fi was great too. It’s just one metro stop from Gare du Nord. Perfect!
