Hôtel Régence Etoile

I cancelled my reservation after the first call left me uncomfortable and not valued as a guest. I’d booked online and called shortly afterward to confirm the hotel had received it. The staff member who answered said it was midnight and repeatedly told me I should check the time before calling. I understand it was late, but was surprised by the tone. Since hotels commonly accommodate late check-ins, I expected a more welcoming and professional response. Reception staff Chen gave the best of the best service, with a friendly smile, and was helpful and nice. The location was excellent. The room was a bit small, but had everything you need. It was my best stay in Paris. Breakfast is worth trying too, very nice.

The location was just right for me: far enough from the crowds, but close enough to get to the places I wanted to see quickly and easily. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, and breakfast was good. I liked the hotel and would book it again. My room was smaller than what I’m used to, but from what I’ve read and watched, that’s typical of French spaces.

My husband and I loved our first stay here, and hope it won’t be our last. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Aurelien, who checked us in and out and made us feel welcome throughout. The breakfasts were fantastic, with a big variety and everything delicious. We also ordered room service meals a few times and enjoyed them. Our beautiful room had a clean Parisian style, and they cleaned it every day. It was small, as we expected in Paris, but the heated towel racks felt like a lovely luxury. We had a balcony, and paying extra for it was worth it if you enjoy sitting outside and watching the street and the Arc De Triomphe. The complimentary washer and dryer in the basement were very convenient.
