Hôtel Sacha

The staff were kind and helpful, and I had a great work stay at Hotel Sacha. My room on the fifth and top floor was pleasant and quiet, and the location was perfect. The towels were a little old and worn, and there was no shampoo. I still recommend the place.

Georges was my favourite part of this charming little Paris boutique hotel. He was warm and attentive, and somehow made the best English tea in Paris. The decor had a lovely atmosphere and the rest of the staff were outstanding too. I'll definitely come back, even if it's only to catch up with Georges. Thanks, Hotel Sacha.

Our family was happy with the stay and would come back. The room was clean and warm, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It's well placed for transport, local restaurants, bakeries, gelato and bars. It would have been nice to have Netflix or YouTube so we could watch TV in English.

We had a quiet, comfortable stay at Hotel Sacha in early November, in a Deluxe room. It's not a luxury hotel, but it has character and made a good base for the price. The common room was cozy, and we spent a couple of evenings painting in our sketchbooks. We slept well and weren't disturbed by noise. We skipped the hotel's breakfast, though it looked hearty, because we were tempted by Pain au Chocolat from Delmontel bakery on the corner and coffee from L'Arbre a Cafe just around the corner. The area suited us well. Rue Des Martyrs is next door, full of character, with lots of shops and restaurants on the surrounding streets. St.George metro was a 4-5 minute walk, and Le Peletier took 9-10 minutes. We used Le Peletier more often, and it seemed a little better connected. It's a good spot if you want easy connections while staying a bit away from the tourist bustle. Before arriving, we switched from a balcony room to one with a fridge, and the hotel was responsive and helpful with the changes. We arrived tired, but Katherine, who I assume is the manager, showed us a few room options, let us pick our favorite and checked us in early. A small elevator was handy with our luggage going up to the fifth floor. We could even see the Eiffel Tower in the distance from the window, which was a nice surprise. The room was big enough, as was the bathroom. Our room type had separate toilet and shower rooms. The bed was comfortable, though it was two beds together with a crack in the middle, something we've found in many European hotels. The safe didn't work, a lamp was burnt out and the fridge wasn't cold, but the hotel fixed all three quickly. Thank you, Katherine and team!
