Hotel Saint Georges Lafayette

The sister hotel across the road was closed for refurbishment, so they suggested Saint George Lafayette instead. I’d stayed at the other hotel before and wanted to return because I loved the area. Saint George Lafayette was very clean, with a helpful front desk and an excellent base for exploring the 9th and 18th. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

We were on the fourth floor and had a great view. The rooms are cute and clean, and the service was lovely. It’s a superb location, fairly quiet and safe, with Pigalle close by for cafes and shops. Monmartre is also within walking distance. I highly recommend this little gem.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff made my room spotless every day. Everyone was so kind and helpful, especially after my purse was stolen. They helped me copy paperwork to take to the American Embassy and paid close attention to all my concerns. I’d never traveled abroad before, and they made it the best experience ever. I’ll recommend this hotel to everyone.

I don’t understand why this hotel is rated so highly. The photos show mold everywhere, and the rooms seem to have no ventilation. There was even mold on the hairdryer cord. Check carefully before booking.
